About Estyn |
Estyn is the Education and Training Inspectorate for Wales and has a wide-ranging and important mission: to achieve excellence for all in learning in Wales through raising standards and quality in education and training. |

About the Role |
As one of our Inspectors, you will travel throughout Wales, offering advice on how education and training providers can develop and improve. You’ll then report on the standards achieved by the learners, the quality of education and training provided and how well-led the provider is. You will work both as a specialist in your own subject, aspect or sector and more generally across all aspects and phases of education and training. You’ll also have opportunities to influence national policies through providing expert professional advice and to promote improvement through spreading the best practice that we see across the system. Ultimately, the advice and recommendations you give will influence the future of learning right across the country. This is an influential role within education and training, so we look specifically for candidates who show the rigour and commitment to improve standards for learners. |
